Step 1:
Watch the latest Reel and then comment with what you think the answer is. Only comment with your answer, "A", "B", "C" or "D" and nothing more to have your comment shortlisted and sorted.
Instead of commenting the answer, you can also make up an answer and hope your comment is striking enough to garner the most likes!
Half of the daily prize money goes to a Random Correct answer and the other half goes to the puzzle's top rated comment
Please note that only comments made within the first 24hr period of the puzzle being released will be recorded for competition purposes.
Step 2:
Wait for the puzzle's 24hr period to end (every puzzle is posted at 5pm UK time, and ends at 5pm the following day).
Step 3:
Watch your DMs. If you were selected for a prize, Detecto will send you a DM on Instagram to let you know you've won. We'll then ask which PayPal email address you'd like the prize money sent to. We will then process the payment as soon as we receive a response.

Step 1:
We use a piece of software (ExportComments.com) to export the first 50,000 comments on the Reel exactly 24hrs after it was posted (usually at 5pm UK time).
At this time, we will also look for the Reel's top-rated comment (most likes) and send a DM to this person, irrespective of what the comment says!
Step 2:
We then import the CSV file into a spreadsheet and filter out all of the irrelevant comments and incorrect answers. This generates our list of winning comments (a numbered list of comments).
Step 3:
We run a random number generator (Google.com's implemented Random Number Generator Feature) using the total number of winning comments (that we got in step 2) as the parameters (For example: Our winning comments list contains 213 entries. We would run the Random Number Generator using 1 as the smallest number and 213 as the largest number that it should pick from).
We will then have a WINNING NUMBER and that will correlate with a number on the list. The Instagram username belonging to that number will be contacted via DM.
Step 4:
We will ask you for your chosen PayPal email address. Once you respond, we will CONGRATULATE YOU LIKE CRAZY and then initiate the payment. This will involve us logging into our PayPal account, clicking "Send Money", entering your PayPal email address and then staying in DMs with you until the payment is complete!
And that's all there is to it!

Is this Gambling? No. Detecto is a completely free-to-play game. You have nothing at stake and nothing to lose by playing.
Is sharing your PayPal email address with us safe? To be honest, we're in Instagram's and PayPal's hands. So long as you (and we) trust their systems, we're all good - they are two of the biggest companies in the world, so we feel it is reasonable to assume it is safe to share information with us via DM. We chose PayPal because they are incredibly good at protecting their customers. So if anything ever goes wrong, PayPal has guaranteed protections in place to safeguard your account.
